Ellews is correct (and frankly, I don't think bpaulorg's response was necessary). A fossil fuel is the same thing as a nonrenewable resource. Think about why gas prices are getting higher...because gas, or the oil to refine into gas, is running out, right? Why is it running out? Because it is a nonrenewable resource; oil is not produced, or at least isn't produced fast enough, by nature. Hope this helps :)
