Hi everyone! :) So this may be a silly question, but please help me. So, i am doing a project on 'freedom from fear' in my English class. I have to read “THE FOUR FREEDOMS” by FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT, 1941 and Welcoming Remarks by President Obama to Prime Minister Cameron of the United Kingdom. I did that and now i have to answer the question - Has the idea of “freedom from fear” changed over time? Compare and contrast both speeches to answer this question.

I have started this all ready, and all i would like to know is did men and women have equal rights during 1941? Because i know at one point we did not...i just don't know when exactly this was.
