I have to build a truss bridge fom 3/32 inch square cross-section basswood and any commonly available adhesive. I can notch, cut, sand and laminate the wood but it still has to be identifiable as the original wood. The bridge can't be more than 25 grams. The length cannot be longer than 400mm. The width cannot be more than 80 mm. The height cannot be more than 200mm. There will be a load applied downward by means of a 50 mm square plate. It will be applied on the longitudinal axis of the bridge at one of two loading points 50mm on either side of the 300mm span. Which type truss bridge is best?
