Hey, Jon, I'm wondering whether an operator (e. g., +, 1, /) is missing from your problem statement. What's between -2log(5) and 7x = 2?

I would divide both sides by -2, so you have log(5) 7x = -1 then use the difinition of log and you get 5^-1 = 7x 1/5 = 7x, no divide by 7 and you get 1/35 = x
