OpenStudy (pixiedust1):
Sorry i lost connection
And yes
OpenStudy (amistre64):
then there is a common difference between terms ... what does this tell us about the sequence?
OpenStudy (pixiedust1):
Oh! That -1.23 is added to each number in the sequence!
OpenStudy (amistre64):

lets call d the common difference:
a1 = -5 + 0d
a2 = -5 + 1d
a3 = -5 + 2d
a4 = -5 + 3d
notice that for every an, the difference is multiplied by n-1
OpenStudy (amistre64):
when n = 10
a10 = -5 + 9d
and we know a10 = 13
so solve for d
OpenStudy (pixiedust1):
YAY! :D
OpenStudy (amistre64):
correct :)
OpenStudy (pixiedust1):
Thanks again! God Bless! :D
