***Please please help!! I give medals!! Which of the following explains why slavery was more popular in the Southern colonies than in the New England or Middle colonies? Southern colonists were not interested in farming. New England and Middle colonies did not believe in slavery. Southern colonies needed a larger labor force to harvest cash crops. Southern colonies had more money than the Northern and Middle colonies.
