2. If X = 4 cm, Y = 5 cm, Z = 3 cm, W = 5 cm, and V = 2, what is the volume of the object? Hint: Separate the object into 2 regular boxes. 49 cm3 70 cm3 76 cm3 150 cm3 https://app30.studyisland.com/userfiles/ok8irshape1.gif

OpenStudy (rajat97):

the hint is very helpful and solves half the question(i mean thinking part) break the figure into two boxes. so you may get a box with length W, height V and width X and the another box with height Z, length Y-V and width X then just appply the formula for the volume of a cuboid=lengthx breadthx height for both the boxes independantly and then add the outcomes so you may get the answer as 40+36=76cm^3 i.e. option no. 3
