Just a suggestion...
I do not think Open Study should give a spot to put school AND full name

I understand why you do so, but I do not think it is safe for the kids. If they put in that information on their own, then that's of their own choice. But I think giving them a spot to insert the information is encouraging them too much, and I personally don't think it is safest. Keep in mind that ANYONE on the internet can see their profile, not just Open Study users. Any other opinions?

i agree with your opinion. but i still understand kind of why its there. it how you can individualize yourself basically

Users provide this info at their own discretion. It is not required to use OpenStudy so people have no material advantage or disadvantage to providing it.

The assumption is that by participating in online communities and being responsible enough to access the internet, people are mature enough and responsible enough to understand and manage the risks inherent for themselves. Sort of like by driving a car, one assumes responsibility for driving in safe fashion and not hurting anything else except by extreme and unforeseeable misadventure.

I like this feature and believe it should be left as it is.

I still understand, but I still disagree. School and FULL name is a lot. It is not required, but i don't like putting the thought of telling that info into a kid's head, or giving them a place to tell it. But that it just my opinion.
