Can someone please check this? A hyperbola has vertices (0,-6) and (0,6) and asymptotes y=3/4x and y=-3/4x. I needed to find the center & I got (0,0). I needed to find the values of a & b for this hyperbola and got a=4 b=3. I still need help with: In what direction is this hyperbola oriented? Write the equation of this hyperbola. Would the equation of this hyperbola be x^2/16-y^2/9=1?
