An ellipse has vertices (0,–5) and (0,5) and a minor axis of length 8. - In what direction is this ellipse oriented? - What are the coordinates of the center of the ellipse? - What are the values of a and b for this ellipse? - Write the equation of this ellipse.

no i dont know how to figure that out with the given information

so the vertices are the end points of the major axis, where the curve makes it's sharpest turn. if we plot those points and then use the info about the length of the minor axis we can draw the picture and get some points.
