how long is a suspension?

The suspension popup tells you how long the suspension lasts before your account is accessable again. if it doesn't show a timer, your account is banned.

when i type in my info and press login the info boxes are lined red. what does that mean?

im even pretty sure that i didn't get suspended because i can't even log in to my account...

Yea the info boxes become red lined when you enter a wrong password or username.
So you're not suspended, you probably filled in an incorrect password.

It can last from 15 minutes to even a few months! Generally users will get a 24h suspension.

when i log into my account, i click on get started and it starts to load the home page with all the questions and all that, and then it says "uh-oh lost the connection, trying to reconnect now." this happens every dam time i try to log in! i wondered why so i created this alt account and it works perfectly. did i get suspended or something? theres no timer or anything , just the message. also, when i click on my profile it says the same thing. no page in open study will load when im on my account. my account is plohr.

btw im please. but the account timed out and it said verify email so i created another account. thomaster u were right my pass was wrong lol. i finally remembered it and then that problem happened. i am so frustrated!!!

"uh-oh lost the connection, trying to reconnect now." usually means you are disconnected from the internet or your internet is unstable. The OS system is quite sensitive, once you're disconnected from it, it immediately shows this message. Also, it will show that notification when the page is not fully loaded, this happens sometimes

FYI, I get

when I use the Safari browser (on a Mac). OS seems to work better with the Firefox browser.

These problems seem to go hand-in-hand with the glitches we see with OS.
