True or False.... the receptor site is a very important part of a B cell--it is called an antibody. Thsi receptor is a specific binding site on the memebrane of the B cell, which means it can bind to many different kinds of harmful particles. I GIVE MEDALS!

I think it is true. B cells have general binding proteins on their cell surfaces that only distinguish between 'self' and 'nonself' particles such as antigens. These proteins bind pretty much anything that the body does not recognize as one of its own cells or proteins.
