What's an easy way to go about finding solutions to 2x^2 + x + 11, being that there is a negative discriminant?

This is a written question, and I feel like I would write way too much with the way I'm doing it. Is there a way to simply explain?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

general quadratic formula... or complete the square... my preference is general quadratic formula.
