Which of the following best describes the solution to the equation below? 4x + 15 = 4x + 25 infinite real solutions exactly one real solution, x=3 1/8 no real solutions exactly one real solution, x=1 1/4

srry

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

when trying to solve for x for 4x + 15 = 4x + 25 subtract 4x from both sides -4x -4x 15 = 25 but 15 does not equal 25 therefore no real solutions (note that if it was something like 15 = 15 then it would be infinite real solutions)

thanks:) :D
