How do I input logarithms into my calculator o_o? I have a TI-84 Plus. Such as log_x 3 or 3 log_10 3 I don't know what order to put the numbers in or what goes in the parenthesis and etc.

Also, would this: If Denise wanted to create a function that modeled a base of 12 and what exponents were needed to reach specific values, how would she set up her function? Be log_12 x?

Click the math button. It should be near the bottom. The first black is the base, the second (in parenthesis) is the... other part. For your first one, it doesn't really work, but the second one you would first hit in 3 then times, hit the math key, type in 10 as your base, and 3 in the parenthesis. Also, for log base 10 there should be a Log button there, which is automatically the base of 10, an ln, which is base of e.

And yeah, your right, it should be log_12 x

Thank you Denu! :D

Glad you have it working!
