Sunlight is absorbed in the leaves of plants by structures called *BLANK* that contain the green pigment *BLANK*. High energy electrons absorbed by the green pigment travel down the *BLANK* producing ATP. More light energy is absorbed creating new high energy electrons which pass on to the electron carrier NADP+ and form *BLANK*. These electrons are replaced when *BLANK* are split apart.
