The variable t represents the temperature at 6 p.m. Which equation would best model the word problem below? The temperature at the summit of Mt. Washington dropped 19°F between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. The temperature at 10 p.m. was –12°F. What was the temperature at 6 p.m.?

Think of it this way. What was t at 6pm? we don't now. but we do know that now (10pm) it's-12degrees. We also know that 4 hours ago it was 19degrees warmer than it is now. so I believe that -12+19=t. Anyone please correct this if needed
