What is the only situation where lines with the same slope wouldn't be parallel?

All i can think of is coplanar lines is this a multiple choice problem

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

If you are in the plane, then the only way this can happen is if the two lines coincide (ie one line lies right on top of the other). So this leads to infinitely many intersections (which points to an infinite number of solutions). Therefore, the two lines aren't parallel in this case because they cross each other.
