OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

Solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no way.

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

why?

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

you got to solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i was being sarcastic. i know i have to solve for x, i just don't know how and i was hoping for some help.

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

The inequality sign does change though when you divide both sides by a negative #.

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

It changes direction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright so i only reverse it for the first inequality then?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

5x >= -20 and 8x <= 16 The first you'll divide both sides by 5. The second, you'll divide both sides by 8. Neither involves dividing both sides by a negative.
