given a pulley which is hanging to a string . Point A is where the string is attached to static ceiling where point B were given T force to pull pulley up, inertial moment of pulley, radius, and mass are given as I, R, and M, calculate the vertical acceleration. what is the relationship between the vertical acceleration and the rotational acceleration ??

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Sketch needed, please.

thanks for the reply, and the case is for non slipping case.. thanks in advance! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

'I' is about d centre of mass

?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Relation between linear velocity of centre of pulley and rotational velocity: \(v=\omega \, R\) Relation between linear acceleration of centre of pulley and rotational acceleration: \(a=\alpha \,R\)
