What is an easy way to start a concluding paragraph?

Avoid starting with "In conclusion ..." It's cliché. Best way is to treat it like a regular paragraph. formulate a good topic sentence for your conclusion and go from there. It should somewhat reflect your thesis statement, but not repeat it. For example, for my essay about why cats make better pets than dogs, my thesis sentence might have been something like:

Even though dogs are more loyal than cats, cats make better pets than dogs because cats are less high-strung and cats don't slobber all over the place.

So the topic sentence of my conclusion might be something like:

When if comes to pets, cats are far better than dogs.
