A company introduces a new product for which the number of units sold, S, is projected to be S(t)= 200(5- 9/(2+t)) where t is time in months

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a) find the mean value of s(t) in the first year using 0 for the starting point and 12 for the endpoint. b) during what month does s'(t) equal mean value?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok I know this is all about differentiation and the mean value theorem and tangent line relationships. i'm going to start working on my own and if anyone has any ideas, let me know!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so we're working with an interval [0,12] I found the derivative: s'(t)= 1800/(t+2)^2

@turtlescarf are you still on by any chance? >_<
