Hydrogen and Oxygen combine to form water

I need to write the balanced equation--im having trouble can someone please walk me through it? :)

You will end up with a number of H2 and a separate number of O2 forming H2O

balanced means that the same number of particular atoms on one side appear on the other so that a moles of O2 will combine with b moles of H2 to form c moles of H2O

a O2 + b H2 = c H2O

c=2a
b = c

O2 + 2 H2 = 2 H2O
