how do you find the area of a triangle??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It depends on what information you have. The most basic is 0.5(base x height). You can also find it if you have all 3 sides of the triangle, using semi-perimeter (s). The equation for that is s = \[(SideA+SideB+SideC)\div2 \] Area = \[\sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)} where a, b, and c are the sides of the \triangle.\]
