sounds like calculus. Did you find the derivative of 2x^2+xy+2y^2+3y+2
It looks like you have f(x,y) = 2x^2+xy+2y^2+3y+2 and you need to find the partial derivatives fx and fy set both = 0 and solve for x and y
is it ok if you can walk me through this process? pleasse? :)
