(12x+3)(-4x+3) for this use F.O.I.L Front, outside, inside, last: front: (12x*-4x) + outside: (12x*3) + inside: (3*-4x) + last:(3*3) then simplify if you can.
(12x+3)(-4x+3)=0 so, it can be write: (12x+3)=0 and (-4x+3)=0
12x+3=0 12x=-3 divide both sides by 12 u will get x1
-4x+3=0 3=4x divide both sides by 4 u will get x2
