State whether the number 91 is prime, composite, or neither. (can someone explain it..not just give me the answer )

OpenStudy (raden):

91 can be factored as 13 x 7 so, 91 is a composite number (non prima) hoped that make sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A composite number is an integer greater than 1 with more that two positive factors.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So wouldn't that make it a prime number?

OpenStudy (raden):

agree, factors of 91 = {1,7,13,91} --> there are 4 factors

OpenStudy (raden):

so, just still a composite number, right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks !

OpenStudy (raden):

welcome ;)
