You have “win xp” installed on partition “C”, and then you installed “fedora” on “ext3” partition, and after you finished the “os-1 course” you decided to remove “fedora” by reallocating the “ext3” partition as “fat32” or “ntfs”. In this case your computer will not launch the “win xp”. It will just show you at startup a black screen with the word “grub>” Why this problem occurred? How to solve the problem using one DOS command? Where I can run this command from?
grub is a boot manager. It's probably pointed to by the MBR (Master Boot Record). There are a couple of commands that will manipulate the MBR. They're available from the Recovery Console. Errors in the MBR are very, very bad. This is definitely not a good place to be fiddling around if you're not knowledgeable and confident.
I want to resolve this problem please....
