I need help please! It is just two questions!

1. Of the following verbs, which is a step-changing verb?
A.Merendar (I think this is the answer, but I am not sure.
B. Beber
C. Estudiar
D. Sacar

2. We call these verbs stem-changing because
A. They have stems, leaves, and petals
B. They have a spelling change in the first part of the verb in all forms.
C. They have a spelling change in the first part of the verb in all forms except nosotros and vosotros. (I think this is the answer)

Umm, i am pretty sure i found the answer in my book for the second. Thank you! My test is being graded by my teacher, once she grades it I can tell you what I got if you want. :D
