If f(x)=-6(x-2)^3+10, write a function for 2f(x) and 1/3f(x). What is the root function of f(x)

OpenStudy (ranga):

2f(x) will be each term in f(x) multiplied by 2 2f(x) = -12(x-2)^3 + 20 1/3f(x) will be each term of f(x) divided by 3 Not sure what a root function is. Is it square root?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! and I think root function means parent root. so it would be x^3
