Describe the excesses of the Red Scare of the 50s. How were The McCarthy Hearings and Rosenberg trials effected? Military, Political, and Economic wise

McCarthy saw an opportunity to promiote himself in the national spotlight by performing the will of the people in rooting out Communists. Unfortunately, he went way over the line and condemned people with second hand information and/or those who did research in to Communism.
