Dan works at a carpet warehouse. He needs to store 5 remnant pieces of a particular carpet. He rolls them together and then needs to mark a tag with an estimate of the total size. The individual pieces are 10, 9, 9.5, 11, and 11.5 square yards. Dan clusters the numbers to come up with an estimate. How many total yards of remnant pieces should Dan estimate he has?
