@charlotte123 Which term describes the economic status when prices are rising faster than wages? A. Depression B. Hyperflation C. Recovery D. Stagflation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b or c?

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

Extremely rapid or out of control inflation. There is no precise numerical definition to hyperinflation. Hyperinflation is a situation where the price increases are so out of control that the concept of inflation is meaningless.

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

Prices rising faster than wages - Not Recovery

b?

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

Stagflation: A condition of slow economic growth and relatively high unemployment - a time of stagnation - accompanied by a rise in prices, or inflation.

Hyperflation

ooooooo @charlotte123

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

OpenStudy (charlotte123):

Hmm...............I would have to say Hyperflation though - Due to the definition and given situation -
