OpenStudy (anonymous):

Every way I try to enter this formula, it doesn't come out anywhere close to 47

I have a TI-83 Plus if that helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get used to using the ANS button. it lets you use your immediate previous answer as many times as your want in your current equation (we'll only use it once though) do Ln(0.5) ANS/1690 ANS * 550 e^ANS (2nd function Ln to get e^x) 60*ANS to get ANS you press 2nd Function then (-) symbol beside equal sign

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

the equation is missing the multiplication symbols so it can be entered as \[60 \times e^{(\frac{1}{1690} \times \ln(\frac{1}{2}))\times 550}\]

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

and I got 47.88

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mother of god, it worked after playing with it for 5 minutes. yall both helped a lot but i have to give euler medal since he respoded first and the technique worked

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well I put it into a TI 83 plus... and you just need a 2nd set of brackets after pressing e^x
