sin θ − csc θ/ cos θ

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

csc = 1/sin \[\sin - \frac{1}{\sin} = \frac{\sin^{2} -1}{\sin}\] pythagorean identity : sin^2 + cos^2 = 1 \[\rightarrow \frac{\sin^{2} -1}{\sin} = \frac{-\cos^{2}}{\sin}\] now divide by cos \[\frac{-\cos^{2}}{\sin} *\frac{1}{\cos} = \frac{-\cos}{\sin} = -\cot\]
