Need help with a postulate reasoning. Picture with options below.
The options to choose from for each one was: - Given - Congruent Supplements - Congruent Complements - Substitution - Simplify/ Combine like terms - Division - Multiplication - Def Right angle - Def Perpendicular lines - Def Complementary angles - Def Supplementary angles - Linear Pair Postulate - Def Congruent angles
Look at the attachment for the four that were incorrect. Try again and post what you think. And, look up the linear pair postulate so that you will know when it applies.
Alright, well, do you know what it means when there are question marks in the statements. I don't know what I'm then supposed to put for the reasoning of the statement, if there is no statement. And I did look up the linear pair postualte and know what it means, just that I dind't know what to put so I just put that.
@UsaChan<3 Could or would you post the instructions for this problem? The instructions that would appear in your book immediately before the section you posted begins.
@UsaChan<3 3. m<1 + m<2= 180 because of Definition of Supplementary Angles 6. Substitution --> m<1 was substituted for m<2 9. <1 is a right angle because of Definition of Right Angle 10. Definition of Perpendicular Lines So, I don't know if you are to include the missing statements (?) and the reasons that go with them because the instructions were not posted. Anyway, I hope this helps.
Thank-you. Sorry that I did not post the instructions, but no, they did not ask to include the missing statements. I went over this and understand how you got there. Thanks so much for explaining and being patient with me.
You are welcome.
