OpenStudy (bibby):

Partial fraction decomposition \[\frac{ 1}{ 1-x-x^2 }\]

OpenStudy (bibby):

\[\frac{ 1}{ 1-x-x^2 }\]

OpenStudy (loser66):

to me, it cannot be decomposed. :(

OpenStudy (bibby):

I figured as much. I got this from the fibonacci power series. I probably messed up along the way

OpenStudy (bibby):

what about \[\frac{ x }{ 1-x-x^2 }\]

OpenStudy (loser66):

the same, since the denominator cannot be factored, how can we decompose it?

OpenStudy (bibby):

You're right... I'll redo my work, thanks for your help.

OpenStudy (loser66):

hey friend, thanks for medal but I don't deserve, I do nothing, right?
