match with following 4x^-1 2x^2+3 7x^3-3x^2+5 No Match a.degree of 3 b.degree of 5 c.coeffiecent of 2 d. not a polynomial
You find the degree by looking at the highest exponent
so no match is not a polynomial
nvm
does each one have to have an answer?
the one that begins with 7x^3 for example would be a degree of 3
yes each one
alright than
I'm not clear on the instructions here
I know the first one isn't a polynomial
those on the top have to match with the bottom one for each
Well I gave you two of them
i got those i need the other 2
please my assingment is due soon
do you not know what a coefficient is?
he actually answered all of them. because he told you how to read the degree. and that makes it obvious for the degree of 5 one and the coefficient is the only one left. so by elimination you have all your answers. its sad to say if i just give you outright answers im impairing your ability to actually understand and be able to do the problem on your own on an exam.
so the coeffiecent is the one with no match
|dw:1386556900126:dw| i have circled the coefficient here
|dw:1386556942560:dw| circled the degree here
