Actually antibiotics are made to kill bacteria , they are uneffective against viruses because viruses are non.living , and there body components are differ from bacteria .. I hope this help :)

one more thing as Anti biotics indicates Anti means against and bio means life so its a thing aganist living thing , to kill cell and viruses are not living thing :)
