If you're not too good with fractions to figure out the ratio , try simplifying all of them

The ratios have to be the same to be a proportion. If you want to be able to compare the ratios, the fractions have to have the same denominator. so 1/2 = 3/6 because 3/6 can be reduced to equal 1/2. 1/2 and 3/6 form a proportion. For the question at the very top, 20/30 reduces to 2/3. I divided top and bottom by 10 to get 2/3. In 'A', 16/24 also reduces to 2/3. Divide top and bottom by 8 to get 2/3. So A is the answer for the first one. Do you understand how to do the other questions now?
