Title :When I Saw In the Mirror They gave me birth but took away my life. They gave me bread but took away my food. They gave me shelter but took away my home. They gave me sleep but took away my dreams. They gave me education but took away my vision. They gave me everything that I needed but not what I wanted. Today I wonder Whether to thank them for what they gave me Or curse them for what they took away. For when I saw myself in the mirror today I had Wings but I was without flight My wings were just too heavy to fly.

This is my attempt to write a poem. I know that it has got no rhyme or pattern but then I guess I am not a poet. It was just a bundle of feelings looking for words and I gave it to some of them. Guys go forward and give your valuable criticisms.

omfg I love it. It doesn't need to rhyme to be a poem. I seriously suggest you keep poetry up.
