So what is pi? It's not 3.14... that's just the number pi happens to have. Pi is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. pi=C/d and what's diamter? Just twice the radius right? d=2r plug these in and you get: pi=C/(2r) plug in the value of the circumference you have and the value of pi they want you to use (3.14) and solve for your radius, "r".
