a personalised car number plate can fit upto 6 letter on it. if i could use any letter of the alphabet or a space in any position how many different combination could be formed? Any one know how to do this?

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

would the space count as a letter?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dunno but i thik so

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Well, in that case, there are 6 slots in the license plate that you can use. If the space counts as a letter, then there are 27 different letters you can put on the plate. So, if I remember correctly, it would be 6*27, which is 162, but lemme check to make sure I'm right.

The answer is 2600000

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

oh. Then I was way off.
