you could add 12 to both sides -24+12= -12 d=4d-12
OpenStudy (anonymous):
subtract 4d to both sides -4d=-12 now divide
OpenStudy (anonymous):
wouldn't you get -3d because d=1d basically and 4d-1d would equal -3d
