do you know how to graph a quadratic equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah barely...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you wanting to do this algebraicly or with a graph. that spelling is horrible sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

algebraically please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(-\frac{ b }{ 2a },f(-\frac{ b }{ 2a })\] this is to compute the vertex then from looking at the sign of the coefficient we know where the graph opens

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have that part i have the x answer already i just don't know how to find y?????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you want to find this =to 0 you will either factor, complete the square, or use the quadratic formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look at the vertex formula. plug your -b/2a in as f(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@lonnie455rich I'm losttttt
