OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Which of the following is a binomial?

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

A. c2 + c + 6 B. c2 - 16 C. -8c D. c3 + 4c2 - 12c + 7

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

or just explain binomial?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A binomial is two terms, where a monomial is one and a polynomial is many terms.

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

whaaa?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha okay so D and A have three terms so they are polynomials so you can cross them off

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And C is a monomial so you cross that one off, and you are left with B.

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

so then B because it has 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep :)

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

i have a few more questions. well i think i know them now. can you double check?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure :)

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Which of the following is a monomial? A. c2 + c + 6 B. c2 - 16 C. -8c D. c3 + 4c2 - 12c + 7

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep!

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

i dont think i can get yelled at for posting more then 1 question in a post after i closed it..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha doesn't sound wrong to me

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

Which polynomial is written in ascending order? A. t2 - t + 4 B. t2 + 4 - t C. 4 + t2 - t D. 4 - t + t2 d?

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

the 2's are exponents

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. C is all jumbled up and A and B are in descending order.
