can anyone please tell me wht does "%c" in c language

It is usually used with scanf, something like scanf("%c" & c) Normally used for passing the address of c.

there are a few notations to be used in c like if the data type is integer we use %d, for string it is %s while for character it is %c. it is predominantly used in printf and scanf statements :)
