The sum of the measures of two exterior angles of a triangle is 264˚. What is the measure of the third exterior angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would Imagine it is 96 degrees

OpenStudy (wolf1728):

If the 3 exterior angles are measured from each vertex, they will sum to 360° Each exterior angle = 180° - interior angle. If 2 exterior angles sum to 264° then the interior angles sum to 2 exterior angles = 360° - 2 interior angles 264° = 360° - 2 interior angles 2 interior angles = 360° -264° the 2 interior angles = 96° The third interior angle = 84° and therefore that exterior angle = 180° - 84° = 96° (As Gman5001 also said).
