Currently on Chrome (should be same on other browsers) Like a lot of people I do tabbed browsing, more specifically tabbed browsing for OS (multiple problems on different tabs). I find that when I should get a notification on a problem in a hidden tab, it doesn't come up on either of my tabs. I think it'd be great if OS recognised that my other tab was not in view and so pushed through a notification onto all the tabs.

What are your thoughts @Callisto?

They already do that, for me at least. On Firefox I get a (1) when ever I get a notification, the odd thing is if I have to many tabs open the (1) gets hidden. I would like for them to move the (1) to the beginning of the tab than at the end.

Really? They very well might have that too for me. I probably haven't seen it cos it's way on the end. Thanks
