how do I find R here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (perl):

too dark

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

If angle SWT = 70 then arc ST = 70 http://regentsprep.org/regents/math/geometry/GP15/CircleAngles.htm then angle R = 70/2 =

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, I see. thanks :DD

Directrix (directrix):

@stupidinmath On Part B 1, the measure of arc ST is shown as 140. That is not correct. The measure of arc ST is the same as its central angle measure of 70.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah, changed that. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is #3 correct?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yep :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks! :>

Directrix (directrix):

Yes, but #4 is not. You have two theorems confused.

Directrix (directrix):

The central angle's arc is the same as the central angle; not twice.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm yeah, I mixed it up .__. so, its also 110?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yep :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, understood. thanks guys. again x)

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

glad we could help! :3

Directrix (directrix):

@stupidinmath It is the inscribed angle that has measure half the intercepted arc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in #5.. its a right angle so.. 90-35= 55 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean #6

Directrix (directrix):

No. It is number 6 that is the right angle. It is an inscribed angle that cuts off a semi-circle so it is 90.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it. :)

Directrix (directrix):

What did you get for 5 --> angle RTS?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

55 :)

Directrix (directrix):

Yes, I am attaching a summary of the problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, yeah, that's clear :)

Directrix (directrix):

Okay.
